Jason A. Matzen
Jason A. Matzen, attorney, represents clients in both state and federal court in serious and complex civil litigation including catastrophic personal injury, premises liability and intentional tort as well as commercial litigation. Jason also has experience litigating cases in an administrative setting, representing Wyoming professionals before their respective licensing boards. Jason also represents clients in criminal matters, including DWUI and possession charges. Jason is a decorated negotiator and frequently uses this skill to defend client interests regardless of context.
Jason graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2018, with honors. During law school, Jason worked as an extern with the Wyoming State Public Defender where he represented clients at both trial and appellate levels.
Having lived in Wyoming for most of his life, Jason understands the unique issues and needs that clients in Wyoming face. Jason loves all that the Wyoming landscape has to offer including hunting elk, backpacking, skiing and mountain biking. He also enjoys spending time with his family and playing music on his guitar and piano.
